Funding intelligence

Identifying the Right Financing Pathway
Today, the challenge is rarely finding information about funding programmes. The more difficult question is which type of financing genuinely fits the specific project.
EU programmes, German funding instruments, foundations, international financial institutions, reconstruction programmes and private financing all follow different principles. An instrument may be accessible in theory without necessarily representing a suitable pathway for a particular project.
BI-Engine approaches financing from the perspective of the project—not the funding database. We assess relevant financing opportunities, prioritise realistic options and identify the requirements and next steps associated with each pathway.
Guidance Instead of Programme Lists
The result is not intended to be the longest possible list of funding programmes. The objective is to develop a clear and manageable financing pathway that shows which opportunities should be pursued first and which may become relevant during later project phases.
For larger initiatives, we also consider how different forms of financing can work together. A project may, for example, begin with a grant-funded feasibility phase and later require development or investment financing.
Funding Intelligence is not about finding more financing opportunities—it is about identifying the relevant ones and assessing them correctly.
